These pages are about technology. Informational technology, that is, and everything that comes close to it in everyday life. Technology tends to be a bit expensive at times, and takes a bit of a learning curve. It also changes so fast that one tends to regret money and time spent on acquiring the latest and greatest while dragging latter-years prized possessions into a Recycling Store, virtual EBay Folder or an inscrutable local Dumpster. If only time was not flying so fast … if only one could afford to have fuller and firmer … wallet to have the power to acquire all those fancy (mostly electronic) things lying on the shelves of the glittering stores… If only we had a few more lifetimes to play with all those things…

Enough daydreaming. If one wants the scoop on latest and greatest gizmos - there are plenty of websites that provide abundant advice, reviews and sound bites about every little thing that is hitting store shelves as we speak and will be completely gone-gone two weeks later and replaced with a new model, review of which will be conveniently provided by your favorite, well, Review Web Site.

One will find none of those latest reviews here. These pages a dedicated to the Technology Pieces done and gone, that used to sell at a premium price, command attention of shiny Magazines Of Old, and evoke Palpable Envy of the friends of those who happened to splurge copious amounts of Money and Effort to acquire the latest and greatest.

We will gingerly step back and look again at those technological marvels that still lurk in attics, basements, liquidation depots, auction pages and other obscure places like one’s  closet - if that closet have not been cleaned up of Old Junk for years.

We will take a look at Technology that one might call Old. However, our goal is to see if we can obtain the same kind of Joy, Thrill and Satisfaction from Possessing, Beholding and Using some of the Ancient Things as we do after bringing home The Must-Have Gizmo from the store and parading it to Friends and Relatives. With that goal (obtainig satisfaction and getting ideas) in mind, we will acquire those Things and take them for spin and ride, and a good look inside.

A noble goal clearly spelt out, let’s tug our Old Mouse by the tail and go On To The Adventure ….
